Norwood Park Periodontics is Hiring a Dental Administrator Near Chicago, IL

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Administrator to join the daily operations of our dental periodontal specialty organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing dental administrative support, fiscal management, and Human Resources .The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of dental experience as an administrator, and should be comfortable with dental software, such as Eagle soft.

Knowledge and comfort submitting dental insurance claims as well as case presentation are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations and Implement fiscal management strategies to optimize financial performance

-Develop and present patient treatment plans

-Be competent and comfortable with dental insurance and submitting claims for patients

-Possess an engaging and helpful personality with a willingness to support your teammates, as well as the positive culture of this unique dental specialty practice

- Supervise staff, including providing guidance on human resources matters
- Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology particularly dental implants, and surgical modalities.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on dental administration
- Strong knowledge of Eagle soft or related electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with managed care principles and practices
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Understanding of fiscal management practices within a dental setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
